Someone called from this number and said he was from the treasury and had a warrant for my arrest for something to do with tax fraud. He said I owed $48,000 and was audited.
A harassing caller from this number leaves this message:>>>

This call is to notify you about a legal case which has been filed against your name and your physical address is under the Federal Investigation your case file number is three one zero zero one two to hear more information about this case you did not get back to us on our number that is (917)285-7827. I repeat it's (917)285-7827. Thank you and have a nice day.
I got a call from this number and he said he is from Treasury. He has got an arrest warrant it seems. I said am in India and he can come and get me. :) He doesn't know what'll happen if he dares to come there!!
Same Call. I don't pick up unknown numbers but it sounded like he said his name was Jimmy Carter on voice mail. Made me chuckle. Clearly a scam. Filed a report with the actual Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration's office.
