I just received a Call from 917-310-3010. My I pushed for the name of the rep who told me he is Andy Piersack and asked for a badge number and he gave me 8005073AL. He hung up on me two times. I could hear the background sound as a call center. I imagine it is a scam as I never recieved any mail from IRS and have been on time each year.
Called my phone left message said they are the IRS and I'm being sued. I called them back and ask who are you? Their response is investigation office for IRS I said that's bull I told them take me of your call list and he said F"*# you 3xs and hung up . now they just hang up when I call or stay silent.
I was concerned about the call up receiving it. I call back only to constantly get a busy signal. I'm sure it a scam to get money from people during tax season. The questions that I have is how did they get my number?
