Just Received an automated call from this number too stating they were calling from CRA. This is a TOTAL SCAM. The CRA NEVER make such calls...they would send a letter in the (traditional) mail regarding such matters. And by the way, the area code is from New York, USA.
These jerks have been calling using 2 different numbers over the past 2 weeks. Same BS recording left on my voice mail each time about my attorney calling them back etc. TOTAL SCAM by SCUM BAGS !!! Ignore the call, don't call them back and block the number if you can. But no doubt they'll call back again using another number because that's what these VERMIN do !
Said from Canada Revenue Agency I'm being charged with Tax Evasion and Fraud. Need to respond to the call or have my attorney respond or I'm going to face severe consequences. 2nd call - previous one approx a month ago, recorded on my answering machine, at that time no ID as to who they were just rest of the message was the same.
