Note the percentage of the amount that goes to the charity is on average about 25% only. Most of the money you give goes to the telemarketing. I just don't answer the call.
Telemarketing = SCAM
I received a call from this number, when the man with a heavy accent asked for me by name, I told him he had the wrong number. He proceeded to call me a "[***]" after I asked him who he was, then he told me he wanted to "[***]" me and that he was "a freak in bed" I hung up on him, and he called right back. I told him if he called me back again, I would press charges for harassment!!! WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!?!? VERY OUTRAGED!!!!
Got 2 missed calls from this #. When I dialed it back it gave me a Verizon message saying the # was not in service. Later I got another call and I answered, but no one said anything so I kept saying hello...then a heard a young woman's voice but then she hung up. WTF
Yeah, before I got wise I told this guy we were not able to help and he got mad and said "Aw come on, you can give us something...he got nasty. Now I tell him when he calls "No sir, you are a scammer and police do not call people and ask for money." Dead silence. Not a breath. SCAM SCUM people, trying to get your money for themselves.. Report them. Spread the word until the authorities find a way we can flag their line, report and expose them while we are ON THE CALL with them.
