Rang once and hung up. These types of scam callers do this because if you are on the Do Not Call list, & you call them back, you have "initiated contact" and are now free to receive calls from them for a year. DO NOT CALL unknown numbers back without googling the number first!
Called my cell phone, but hung up after a few rings. I haven't called back, but reading the above posts, I recall a call a few months ago from a "rewards" center. I asked that person how my number was obtained and was told I had purchased items on-line and am now eligible for rewards. I told him, truthfully, that I never shop on-line and the line immediately went dead. I will take the previous poster's advice and not call them, as I guess that has me initiating contact with them.
Received call from this number. It stopped ringing before I got to my phone. I am on the DO NOT CALL list and should not have gotten this call to begin with.
