I just got a call from this number. They claimed I won 2.5 million in a mega million drawing. He said he was from Bank of America and needed my bank account info so I can receive a cashiers check. I told them that I wouldn't do, say, or give them anything because there are scams going around. He told me to call the manager at 1-876-480-0944. This is a number from Jamaica. I have been receiving numbers like this for a few months now. I answered one of those other numbers and they said they were from Geico. Don't believe anything they say and do not give out your information.
YEP - same here...utterly bogus.
When I asked what company they are with over and over, I got different answers.

Got a call from this number, did not answer. Message wa something about an overnight priority package waiting for confirmation, said they were form Ford/ITC and left the call back number of 1-866-314-0619. Called number they left and got an operator in an obviously crowded call center (lots of background noise), didn't identify themselves but upon asking said they were "ITC Sports Division." WHATEVER
Got a call from the same number 866-314-0619. Lindsey Dayton from SPS Sports Department saying I had an overnight package waiting for approval to ship. Called my work number. Scam, got the same background noise.
They must have changed their tactics, because the man with the strong Indian accent indicated he was calling from Publisher's Clearing House, and I've just won $10M. (if he'd have said my PC was infected, I would have laughed - I'm 100% Mac only!) I called [***] and hung up on him. I've already filed an FCC complaint. Hopefully it's one of many that will get them to do something before someone gets screwed.
