I just got a call from this number. They claimed I won 2.5 million in a mega million drawing. He said he was from Bank of America and needed my bank account info so I can receive a cashiers check. I told them that I wouldn't do, say, or give them anything because there are scams going around. He told me to call the manager at 1-876-480-0944. This is a number from Jamaica. I have been receiving numbers like this for a few months now. I answered one of those other numbers and they said they were from Geico. Don't believe anything they say and do not give out your information.
I just received a call from this number, showed up as Hudson Highland.. Trying to discuss my medication of which I dont have.. Don't these people have lives...
Just got a call from the number too. A man with a strong indian accent was telling me that he was here to help with the problem with my computer, I told him that my computer was not having any problems and hung up. Hopefully they got the message and dont call again.
Received a call today (3-29-12) from (917) 522-1822. Called ID said it was from something called Hudson Highland. Very heavy Indian accent but got that he said he represented Windows and wanted me to allow him access to my computer to clear it of malware and other viruses that had infected my machine. Told him I could not understand him because of his accent and hung up. Google research shows that this is a scam.
I'm extremely concerned that I received a call from this number. I was on the other line, so didn't pick up, but googled the number and find it is a scam. The caller did not leave a message.
