First a woman with a really heavy accent called me to tell me my tax returns were wrong. I couldn't really understand her but I do remember her saying she was part of the IRS. She said that she is going to connect me to her supervisor who was a man with another heavy accent named "Austin Hall." I'm not trying to be racist but that name doesn't typically go with an Indian accent. He said I could be arrest and put in jail for up to 6 months because of my tax return fraud. They kept asking if I have received any mail saying this, which I haven't. And they said my 2013 tax returns were wrong... I didn't work during that tax year which is what made me realize that it was a scam.
It's a man with a Asian accent saying that his name is Ben Cooper. Claimed he is from the Department of legal Affairs US Treasury. His call was a verbal notification enforcement on an action that they started against me. It sounds like a threat and if i call them next, to have my attorney make the call on my behalf.
I also received a call also from a woman by the name of Amy Tylor claiming she is with the Department of Legal Affairs Us Treasury about some 2013 tax return that was wrong fully filed and i owe the irs $4000.00 and could end up in jail.
