Just got the same type of call....did not answer because we no longer answer these calls. It was a message threatening my daughter who has not lived here for 10 years!! TOTAL SCAM!!!!
The caller had a very heavy Indian accent and was obviously reading a script.

He left a message that says all of above but also told me to have a attorney with me when I call. I'm not sure if that was all the words cause my call you had that accent to. Maybe it was my attorney called or something about a attorney. I couldn't understand him. His name was Kevin miller. His number is 917-563-4072. I was looking up Yorke pups n there was a pic of it when I looked into it.
Received a call from this number a few moments ago asking for my mother. Right away I knew it was a scam but I played along and whoever was on the other line (I didn't get their name), got pretty ticked off with me. Like others who have already commented, they claimed to be from the Dept of Treasury. My first question/comment was that if there were any issues with the Dept of Treasury, they would have sent a letter instead of calling which he basically ignored and tried asking for my mother again. I told the guy I have Power of Attorney (which I do) and could discuss the matter instead of putting my mother on the phone. He insisted he speak to my mother and that it was confidential, I insisted I could discuss matters and said that if he wasn't going to tell me what it was about, I wasn't going to have her call back. Well, that hit the button...he got angry, threatened to have her arrested, and hung up before I could tell him to go right ahead and call the police. Number has been blocked and I'll be waiting at my door in anticipation for the police to arrive. These calls are annoying but that doesn't mean you can't have a little fun with them before they hang up on you.
