called  today a had dead air, no response to my hello

calling to raise awareness about a raise in the electric bill soon and ask to press 1 if paying more than $150/month and to stop the raise

I didn't answer when I got a call from this caller.  Every time I receive any unknown calls, I always check 800notes.com.  I am glad that I read the comments.

according to google, 917 area code is NYC- but cell phone.  I know of no legit business that uses cell phones to contact clients.  I have since blocked their number (I use CPR Callblocker available on Amazon).  I would block the entire area code but i have a couple friends with it.

Got a call today on my landline. No message .Will block. Thanks!
