I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize so when my voicemail came on they hung up. After reading the other posts I will block the number if they call again.
A lot of spoofed calls are coming from the 937 (southwest Ohio) Area Code these days. One the other day tried to sell me a medical alert device, for example. As always, if you don't recognize the phone number or area code, don't answer the call. This number, however, was already on my online call-blocking service's blacklist, and it rang only once before automatically disconnecting. That means the service had identified the number as baloney.
