This number just called. Since i didn't recognize the area code, I chose not to answer, and instead looked it up. Since there's so few comments on this number, it appears that it may be something new that's going around. No message was left either.
I answered - a recording said my 'card' was eligible for new low interest rates and to press 1 to speak to someone or press 2 to stop receiving calls. I pressed 2 (on two different days) - today, i pressed 1 and when someone answered, i explained that this is a new phone line and they must remove me from all contact lists - idiot argued with me that I was calling them so they cant remove me. I insisted - they hung up on me
I've had three calls in the last two days here in Vancouver. I haven't picked up any of them, but I agree with a previous post that this seems to be a new scam.
