Marty Zuckerman called me this afternoon. Left a message saying she was with Domari and is working on "a project" in my home state, and they wanted to ask for my help in pushing them in the right direction...whatever that means (off a cliff?)
This is not a good place to "advertise" about business. This site is about scammers, telemarketers and shady debt collection practices, among other criminal activities conducted on a phone.
No one here cares how YOU feel about them personally, only if you have had an unwanted call from them or not.
Well when there is a phone number associated with a legitimate business, it needs to be made clear to everyone not to pay attention to this negative feedback that is left online. Although I doubt this site gets much traffic or that too many people take it seriously, it needs to be mentioned that this number belongs to an actual legitimate business. But thanks for your input Huntleton.
Sure, I understand that people want to know who the actual number belongs to, but when someone (like the one who was removed) comes and "advertises" about the business, saying wonderful things on what they do or how they can help, it is NOT useful on a site such as this one, where people come to find out about UNWANTED calls. Those would be considered wanted calls from a legitimate business, right? Now if people came and reported all those good calls, then scammers would just use that as an additional means to convince their victims they are also legitimate from the same number.
The conflict between the legitimate calls and the spoofed scam calls can't co-exist here without confusing people about who is actually calling them. So since this site is designed to allow people to report on those unwanted calls, it stands to reason why legitimate calls are not as welcome.
Your statements are true ... but you may have forgotten to mention "CallerID spoofing" ... where the bad guy fakes the number of a legitimate company, and entices the mark to send money.
Also, I wonder how the other Mike determined 800notes does not get much traffic ... In other words, how did he find his way here?
Shucks, even the shills take this site seriously ... that is why they "advertise" here, and have so much difficulty with the Regulars' answers!
