This number was from a call back about student loans when I indicated I had no loans. These guys, whoever they are, don't bother to check the DO NOT CALL LIST. I guess they think they are part of the government, and don't have to follow any laws.
I get a lot of these BS robocalls and I always navigate the menus until I get to a person. Then I try and waste as much of their time as possible. Great fun!!
I received an unsolicited robo call about student loan information from a caller ID that came up as unknown. I lied and claimed to have student loans and the robo call stated someone would contact me within 24-48 hours. From that point, I received four calls from 951-707-4216 (two on a Friday and two on the following Monday). The fourth call I answered and asked for a number to call them back at. The woman on the line provided the number 844-878-8336. When I asked about the different number, the lady claimed the 951-707-4216 was their main office. The BBB lists the company associated with the 844 number as not BBB accredited. I have been registered on the Do Not Call list since 2008.
