I live in Canada also and have gotten calls from this number as well as calls from 503 457 1358. This number also originates in the Portland, Oregon area and my calls also has to do with the upcoming election in the U.S. I have no idea where they get the numbers from. I have not listened to the entire message and press the pound key several times before hanging up because I've been told this will mess up their system. It apparently doesn't work. Very frustrating!
