Get multiple calls, ask do not call anymore, then they hang up

I recvd call from this # and my number is also on the DO NOT CALL list so if it's a marketer, they are calling illegally.

1:45PM call from this number, caller ID said "Cust Service"
Answered, initial silence, then a recording saying something to the effect ->
"Hello, this is the (D or T)ysons, no one is home right now to take your call. Please leave a message"

I don't answer calls I don't recognize

If these people try to sell you something and you are on the Do Not Call list, they are breaking the law. No ifs ands or buts about that.
If they lie about you having given them your number, they'll lie about anything else, too.
Report them.
