They have called here several times in the past two weeks, never leaving a message. Finally today, I answered the phone. In very poor english, he asked to speak to my husband, by name. When I asked who was calling, he had the nerve to ask ME who I was! "I said again who"s calling and what is your business"? Again this idiot asked who I was. I hung up on him.Has anyone noticed a rise in these types of calls this summer, even though your on the Do Not Call List? My number is also unlisted.
Just answered a call from them. Display showed LHELP. A male with an Indian/Pakistani, or similar accent identified the call as from United Financial and began a pitch about unsecured credit card debt. I informed him I was not interested and that my number is on the Do Not Call list so he should not be calling me. He becamse confused then hung up. Next step for me is a complaint to the FCC DNC site.
Got a call from this number without any ID. Left no message. Earlier this month I kept receiving calls from 971-220-1003 so I blocked it. I think this the same people with a new phone #. These people are likely operating outside of the US which is why they disregard the Do Not Call list. If you have a smart phone try getting a good call blocking app.
