no wonder a collections industry guy wants to buy this web site to close it. in the last week i've started getting calls on both my cellphones from this number. both cellphones are on the donotcall list and I only give one out to close friends (although until posting on this site this year I also got republican party spam on it since I used it two decades ago when voting in a primary). i suspect rachel from credit card services is really a debt collection scam in violation of the FDCPA as well as CANSPAM act. i started hearing from "Rachel" at various numbers after refusing to pay an illegitimate medical bill, having been referred to MD doctors nonconversant in my medical condition by my insurance company (which in my VA/DC/MD location deselects anyone with expertise in the area I need tho they proclaim such expertise in CA, OR, WA, CO and GA). Well, the referred unknowledgeable doctors led me on for a while, and when I stopped, sent me duplicate bills in various combinations from five different addresses, some of which are linked to FTC-sanctioned scammers, and also refused to accept my certified FDCPA letters after showing me hard copies of obviously altered medical records and insisting they kept no electronic records. The insurance company orally advised me to get other insurance and wrote that I could be billed for at least 2 copayments per visit, showed me altered electronic records and refused to allow cellphone photographs of them, and fired the employees who let me see them for an hour before kicking me out on the advice of what turned out to be the legal department when I asked questions about the wiped metadata on the altered entries. The insurance company, medical oligopoly and debt collections scammers all take pride in being above the law, since the FTC defers to HHS OCR which does nothing and overwhelmed state regulators just punt back to the insurance companies.

I have had calls form this Beaverton Oregon place too. I am getting sick of it. I have blown my whistle when my recorder picks it up but I guess it is a recording , so I need to do as others have done and punch #1 , then blow it when someone is really talking in person ? I got these last year and the name was Rachael too. I do not remember hearing a name on this one from Oregon...just the intro "about your credit card"...Yada.... yada ...I tried to do a reverse phone look -up and got no results (unless you want to pay for it) ! Not me ! I do not want these calls and I am not paying for it!

The person who owns these #s appears to actually be Stephen Hamilton with a company called PacficTel not the phone company but a scammer telemarketign company. Mr. Hamilton's direct personal # is 310-895-0574 - feel free to call him and harrass him right back.
