This is my week for spam calls. I'm getting 3-4 every day from several phone numbers including this one. I received this call August 17 at 10:45 a.m. Caller ID read "Top Googlepages". I did not answer and no voice message was left.
This is identical to my interaction with them. The caller claimed he represents "Windows and can see I'm experiencing computer issues". I explained briefly that this is impossible and that whatever he's selling I am NOT interested. He hung up.
Caller named "Bob," heavy Indian accent, said my computer was infected and he needed to clear the problem for me. When started laughing, he asked me if it was okay to procede. I said "procede with what?" and he said he was going to fix my computer problem. I was able to stop laughing long enough to say "no thanks" and hang up.
