Got same phone call: urgent need for a virus on my computer. Claiming to work for windows. We unstinted who it was. Told us he worked for a company that supports Windows. We asked to call windows ourselves and they hung up.
Received a call from this number 971-217-9518 with caller ID showing Beaverton, Oregon. Assumed it was a solication so did not answer. Called number back and they have an automatic opt out (press 1) to delete you from this organizations calls.
Received this call at 6:00 am, that alone did not make me terrible receptive! When I did a call back, it gave the option to opt out of future calls - apparantly it has to do with computer viruses. Either way, not happy and would love to call then super early on a weekend morning and see what they think!
