Just did what you mentioned and 'removed' myself from their lists. Unfortunately I recognize both recording voices and have attempted to remove myself from their list at least once before, and they still called back...
I've received a call from this number (and similar numbers) 1-2 times a week for the last several weeks. They "offer you a free cruise" for "political opinions." This is not a legitimate opinion call, and I think is going under the "Do Not Call" radar with perhaps some fraudulent business claims.
If you have had any sort of interactions with bridal shows/salons in recent months, they most likely sold your information; I've read many people getting calls exactly like this one after going to shows. If you submitted anything through Simplicity Gourmet, the Bella Bridal Network, or something similar, they're well known for this practice.
The number just called my cell phone and I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. I'll block it after reading the comments. I'm not going to bother calling and opting out since others said it didn't work.
