Just did what you mentioned and 'removed' myself from their lists. Unfortunately I recognize both recording voices and have attempted to remove myself from their list at least once before, and they still called back...
As for the rest of you, I donno... but anytime I get a call from Oregon of any kind, it has to do with some stupid home security company trying to sell me their product.
It's also one of these new automated response that sounds like a real person:
I agree, the DNC list is worthless....I get call after call, even on Sunday, no one leaves messages, if I happen to answer, they hang up. So why are they calling???
If you hit 'ignore' on your cell while it is still ringing - before the call has a chance to connect and/or bounce to voice mail - you will NOT be charged by your cell carrier. Nothing more satisfying than making these idiots hit a brick wall before they even have a chance to get started. Do it enough, and they eventually give up calling your number.
