I am on the Do Not Call Registry and have been since 2010 - yet these slimeballs keep getting through to our cell phones. What is the point of being on the registry if they still get through. My number is not published anywhere so I can only assume they are hackers or the cell companies are selling lists of numbers. Whatever the case, it needs to stop.

received two missed calls 1 minute apart. each call left a blank 2 second vm on my cell. called # back, it was Political Surveys of America. Dialing "1" at the prompt supposedly opts your # out of their registry
It is a politcal survey company. They have a web site and you can remove your number from any future calls.
