Same bogus credit card scam. Download any of the several apps on your phone ( mr. Number, Call Blocker) and add these telemarketers to your blocked list. The phone will automatically pick up and hang up without ever ringing. Over and done!
File a complaint with the FCC online. They take this seriously and need to get many calls to identify the callers and get something done. The only problem is... the scam artists just get another phone number and start calling again. I just received one of the calls... from CNAM (which means "callers name") (I looked it up online)... so there is no actual company identified on the caller id. I didn't recognize the name... knew it was not a company I dealt with... so picked up the phone, turned it on and hit the # button quickly about 20 times. Then I hung up. That's supposed to foul up their computer and kick my number off their listing. I'll let you know if it works. I sure hope it does, or I'll be filing another complaint with the FCC.
