Thank you all for posting this. I was being led down the same primrose path and now I see he's been using the same schtick on me as he has with you. Here's his latest response which just so happened this morning:

You won't believe that though the job doesn't seem hard but it's actually wasn't easy screening the multitude of people who applied for it but I am sure we selected the right person for the job. So now that you have taken up the job,you will spend 3-5hours anytime you are free as long as you go there everyday and the job starts IMMEDIATELY and will be for a minimum of 3MTHS with the following tasks you need to get done. Below is an outline of what you need to do prior to our arrival. I have put every other necessary thing in place like looking at some apartments close to your address for rent,locating an hospital in the vicinity and trying to talk to any of their doctors to schedule possible appointments. Also,I will get you the details of the house so that you can go and do a little cleaning. I have also been making arrangements with a mover to bring his stuffs which you will be overseeing. Also a Check will be issued out to you this week to cover for:

- Part of your weekly payment $250) precisely for the run arounds...
- Food and House shopping...he's okay with any major everyday food you buy(he doesnt select) or you could wait till he comes.
- Also periodically,a Specialist will be flying over to check him and if there are any drugs prescribed by him,you will make the purchase.(not from your pay) because I don't want Danny to handle any purchase or money transactions.

What I'm I looking for?

I am looking to get someone to cater for our father who is on a 2months bedrest. He just underwent a minor surgical operation and needs lots of time to rest. He is not bed-ridden but needs help in the house. I am his first son and will be the one employing you. He will be moving into the area for 3months or more and so I need someone to be more than a care-giver to him. We will be moving in from portland but due to my nature of job,I will only be available over the weekend as I travel mostly during the week.

Job Requirement:

- You are to stay with him for 3hrs or more depending on you from Monday thru Friday. You are make sure the house is clean,tidy always and maintain an healthy kitchen
- You will take him to the hospital 2wice a week and you will be the one to buy any drug prescribed.
- You are to keep him companied and make him feel very homely and assured. Companionship nourishes the heart. I hope you are a nice interesting person cos papa doesn't like dry people.
- You are take care of the house,help in his laundry,and other domestic works.
- Lastly and most importantly, you will be provided with funds in excess incase he needs to pay for his drugs,do some shopping in the house and buy any other thing he might need. So uttermost trust,willingness and faithfulness is highly needed here from you.

Benefits:

- You will be earning $450 per week for a start.
- Feeding and transportation allowance will be given weekly besides the salary.

I am in contact with the same person through email. His last email said to look forward to a check from him. I am going to take the check and the emails and where they are from to my local DA and report this.
