In your drop-down box for call type why have you neglected scam, felony, rip off. This number just came in with your typical East Indian pretending to be Microsoft to get your personal information from your PC.
Too bad because these East Indians are so plentiful they make their whole race look criminal like a pestilence.
Got a call from 1-971-555-0179 today (Aug 8th 2015 at 8:46AM ). The Indian guy on the phone said he was from "Windows technical support" and proceeded to guide me through steps to get rid of the "virus" that my computer was sending them messages about. I actually played along because I know about this scam, computer security is one of the things that I do for a living. So, after around 20 mins on the phone with this guy and just as he was sending me to his "repair site" I let him know I knew it was a scam and asked him why he dose such things. He had no good answer and seemed a bit hostile to me after he spent all that time on me.
Look, I know many people that use 800notes are smart people but just in case you do not know....
There is no such thing as "Windows technical support" Microsoft ( Company that makes windows ) has tech support, but they do not call you or pretend that your computer has been sending them signals. What these creeps are doing is guiding you through steps to bring up harmless windows data that indicate warnings and then using those warnings to say that your computer is infected. They then get you to go to their site for "repair" of the problem. DO NOT follow their instructions, their site is setup to INFECT your system with their viruses and quite possibly ransomware.
If you go to their site and follow their instructions you will have your computer infected. If you have questions about windows contact Microsoft BEFORE anyone else.
