It's a scam. SMS to my work phone from vtext.com, very few people know it and I don't have any cards to activate. Scams like this tend to pop up around tax time to get people's financial info to clean out their refund and account
If you are a Verizon customer forward the text to 7726. I spoke with a customer service rep for Verizon and this is what she said to do. It's their spam department.
If you have bought a reload able debit/credit gift card especially at Kmart or Sears this is the number. If someone gave you one for Christmas as a gift card etc. it's asking for you to activate the personalized card that was sent.
