The usual - 5 rings and gone before the voice mail picks up. I don't answer unidentified calls, like most of you don't. However some of you ask an interesting question; "Why can't the phone company do something to stop these calls?"
As some of you are, I'm sure, aware UPS drops some packages at the local Post Office for final delivery, thereby freeing up their trucks to handle larger or multiple commercial packages and the deliveries that are closer together. UPS pays USPS a fee for this service which is referred to as "the last mile". Almost all of the scam calls originate on VOIP networks overseas. These calls have to get off the internet and on to our landline and cell phone networks. I wonder if the VOIP networks pay the local landline telephone companies a fee for "the last mile"? If so, we now know why they won't do anything about it. Judging by call volume they're making TONS of money delivering these scam calls to our phones. Just a thought.
i received a call just now and once i asked what this call is about the person on the other end with heavy Indian accent and most likely from overseas (VOIP) hung up the call
Did not answer did not know the area code Whom ever it was never left a message, Scam too much of this BS going on now days hope President Trump can stop this king of stuff with a excetive order!!
Same here..been getting calls from this number almost once a day for the past 3 days.I didnt pick up the phone and no voice mail was left..so I guess it was not important...
