Calls from this number can continue for days, several times of the day and night, if answered there is not anyone there, and if you call the number the number is not a valid number, there is no message if you let call go to answering machine. I have had to block the number to keep from getting annoyed by the phone ringing all day and night. There is not any name on the caller ID to determine who this is. Please find out who this is so calls will stop.
This number called our landline 4 times the last few days with the last call at 2am. We don't pick up numbers we don't know. They usually hang up when they get an answering machine. Once they kept saying hello on the machine with a strong Indian type of accent.
This number 201-020-1020 called and said that they are from windows & firewall securities services dept. They keep saying that my pc is being hacked and want me to go to my pc and hit the windows button and then the letter "R" on my keyboard. I asked them for a number to call them back and they did not want to give me one at first, but then gave me a number 800-787-1249. I googled that number and nothing was found.
This just happened to us too. Saying they are from Windows and that we got hacked. I told them we aren't on a windows platform so they said they would transfer me to the apple department. Said that Windows and Apple are outsourcing these issues. I took the number they gave me 800-787-1249 (John Smith... ha!)
