rec'd 2 calls in less than 30 minutes from CID: '2010201023'... C#: '201-020-1023'... did not answer... no message left... number blocked.
report on Mr Robot website said "Microsoft" computer scammers.
Calls me every 30 minutes! This is obviously a fake number - no such phone exchange as "020" - they also call from Blocked numbers. If I answer, there's often no one there, obviously an autodialer calling my number over and over whether there's an Indian agent available to scam me at the moment or not. When they get me or my answering machine they say they are with Microsoft Windows Support calling about my computer in a heavy Indian accent. This is an old off-shore scam, but now instead of calling once a month, they call 10 times a day! How do we stop this? I don't want to be bothered by the ringing of my phone from scammers (especially since I often sleep days) or miss an important call from a doctor. Obviously a phishing scam. Others have reported they direct you to a malware site ShowMyPC.com. What can be done about this?

Call Blocker
You need to buy a standalone call blocker, call blocking phone, use your carrier’s call blocker if they offer one, or download a free call blocking app for smart phones. For conventional cell phones, assign the number a letter like “z” and make no ring. You may also need to have your carrier increase the ring time to avoid having them leave a message on your voice mail.
