Person with strong accent asked if he was talking with some name, not mine. I said it was a wrong number and then he wanted to talk with the person responsible for my computer. He said that he had been affected by some type of very serious problem, and implied he was calling from Microsoft. He asked me to turn on my computer, at which point I told him not to call again and hung up. I've received one more call that I did not answer.
Just got a call right after work a man with a strong accent that I could barely understand, tells me that I just won a 400 dollar shopping card from walmart and also a 200 dollar gas card and all he wanted to do was verify some info with me. He knew my address and name so then he tells me he wanted my card info cause they were gonna charge me 2.95 for S&H that's when I said hell no and hung up on him and I googled his number and I found this website and now I'm posting this.......thanks fo the postings
I got the same call except the price was lower they were offring the free walmart gift card for 1.95 shipping all I had to do is give them my credit card number. I asked where they were calling from they said arkanas, I asked for the address and phone number so I could call them back, he gave me 888-537-5503.
Just got a call at work from this number. I looked on my caller ID and when i didn't recognize it, I let it go to voice mail. They didn't leave a voice mail message any way.
Got 3 calls today. Each call started with music. Then a vile ill spoken person from India (?) tells me he wants to fix my Gateway computer (never owned one). Another rep called to sell me software. Why can't the genius at the FCC figure out how to put an end to this land line abuse and fake caller id nos? And who in their right mind would deal with these frauds? Very annoying.
