Getting several calls per week, finally started asking the name of the company (acting like I'm trying to remember-lol), so far I've got Direct Contractor Inc., Go Green California, and The Home Improvement Center. They're not all the same number, but I have a feeling that ALL of them are connected, as they use the same language (they talked to me/my dad a few months ago about home improvement). One lady said she had talked to my dad in January about energy savings. I told her that that was physically impossible as my dad has alzheimer's and can't even remember how to answer the phone--caught her in a direct lie!! Actually, have caught every one of them in a lie that I actually can catch before they hang up on the message machine. Since Monday's call, I've told each telemarketer that we're on the Do Not Call Registry; ONE GUY HAD THE AUDACITY TO ASK "WHICH DO NOT CALL REGISTRY?" I said, "the NATIONAL do not call registry." I couldn't believe he actually asked that question.
I think all of us abused tax payers should join forces and figure out a way to NAIL these guys once and for all!!! (maybe make them do sooo much extra work for nothing)
One other note...they don't seem to like it when I tell them we've already had the windows replaced and a new furnace installed and we are already saving energy and money. HAH!
Incidentally, this number 2012063269 on the 28th of May I got the strangest recording I've ever heard; the only phrase I could make out clearly enough was "[something]fu__ing problem, [something, something, something]"
Got a phone call from this number 201 206 3269 and they hung up as soon as I said hello. I tried to call back but it said it is not registered with a company anymore. Seems like a telemarketer or a scamming company.
