Unwelcome call on my unlisted land line @2:19 p.m. on 5/30/2016. There was no message left. I hate running to see who is calling. This is very annoying. I will block it, but really I can only block 250 calls and I keep getting 5-10 calls a day.This is crazy. Sometimes I delete a number from months ago only to have to re-block it. Some of them are the similar exchanges. Thank you for this site that helps us identify these spam callers.
If your phone is a Panasonic cordless-check your owners manual-if it's a later model you can probably block spans of area codes by only inputting as few as 2 digits (such as 20) into the "range of numbers" blocking section. Doing that will block all #s beginning with those digits. Or if you wish just input 3 #s to block the entire area code. Not sure of the exact math, but by inputting the 2 digit method, you'll use about 80 # slots and be blocking basically all the area codes and toll free area codes in North America. And you'll have peace. Obviously you'll need to not block areas where you have family or business and keep your own area code available, and tweak it somewhat, but your 250 slots will work just fine!
My example is input 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 29. That way I just blocked all area codes beginning with the # 2. I used 10 # slots and effectively blocked 100 possible area codes.
