Yep me too. Call 4 times in 2 hours. Hung up and when I call back the voice mail is full. Listed as Jersey City and Elmhurst NY. I think he's a pimp and a thief scam person.
They asked for Denise, I said that I was not that person, they asked this in a very mean manner. I said I have had this phone number for eighteen years. She raised her voice and said " I DONT CARE HOW LONG...at this point I hung up on her.
this number kept calling and hanging up. They finally asked for ss number so they could get me a GREAT deal on credit card rates. I asked more info to check w Better Business Bureau, they hung up. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!!! IT IS A SCAM!!!!!
This number kept calling. They asked me about my balance on my credit cards. I wanted to know more so I answered a few questions. They transfered me to another person who said they would lower my interest rates. I asked them the name of the company, etc. They kept telling me the new law will raise my interest rates but they could get me a fixed rate. But, they wanted my social security number & credit card numbers. I told them if they knew my information already, they should have this. I refused this info and Mr. Anderson raised his voice and kept saying "Mamm" this will never effect you & he needed this info or I would be disqualified. I said no and then hung up as he was continuing to yell at me.
HAVE ANY OF YOU THAT HAVE RECEIVED CALLS FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER (201-209-1654) HAD BANKS CALLING YOU BECAUSE SOMEONE HAS USED YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ATTEMPT TO TAKE OUT A CREDIT CARD? I don't know, but this could be just one of the ways that scammers try to verify information for such fraudulent applications. Beware!
I received a call from this number and I use my cell phone as my only phone. I called back and it said the mailbox is full. Just a tip for all: I save the number as a contact such as "Bad Number" - then edit it so the call goes straight to voice mail. After a while--I'll delete the contact.
