this is from a collection agency. Global Vant-Edge. i think they are based in India, which is why they have heavy accents. you have to submit a request in writing (return receipt requested) to get them to stop
Same complaints as listed as others have said. Constantly calling! Global Vantage man tells me about a Sears bill that is 2 yrs overdue and trying to collect on it. Because of medical reasons we filed for bankruptcy and our Sears bill was dismissed in court. They want to know who our attorney was, phone #, etc. When I said that if this was so important, why do they keep calling and not mail anything to me, they hung up.
We get a call from this number 4-5 times a day. Mid-East accent and very rude. Asked them not to call here 5 times a day and "extremely" rude caller says "I will call 6 times a day. I am on No-Call registry and this person is in violation of that.
Have called repeatedly in the last week. I was just hanging up on them, because I would pick up with no response. But on the last call some Indian guy asked for me badly butchering my hard to pronounce name (well if you're indian). I simply responded nope no one here by that name. Now I call them when I get bored using *67 so my number shows restricted and talk gibberish to them. What's fair is fair.
