I just got the same call 12;30 in the afternoon. It's really annoying. Especially when you have to reset your answering machine...That's why I do not give my number out but these people probably dial every number in the book!!
Today is Monday, October 11, 2010 (Columbus Day Holiday) and I got a call from this number tonight:
(201) 210-5381
The call came at 6:30 PM Eastern Time. I did not answer. No message was left. I live in New England. New Jersey is 300 miles away.
A Google-Inernet search on the number led me to this site to post this message on a community billboard. Sorry, but I have no further information to add.
Two guys called - one acting as a phony sales rep, the other pretending to be his "supervisor" they pretended to work for the local paper and seemed to be phishing for personal information (full name, address, email, etc). Watch out for these guys- This is definitely a phone phishing/fraud scam.
They called me at 2:30am last night and said they were calling to schedule a wall paper delivery. Insane. They wanted to veriify delivery information. What kind of scam could this be?
They are a telemarketing Service I work for a Newspaper Company that uses this company to get our current subscibers to renew their subscriptions. personally i do not like it they also call me all day almost every day because i have a subsciption it is so irratating but it is not my desciscion to have them its a corporate thing so lame sorry
