I just got three calls from this number today and when i went to call back it did not even ring but a man's voice recording came on and said this number can not be reached and that was it
I now have fun with these noobies. Whenever they call about that I applied for something, I'll just unhook the phone cable... I have a cable that splits to all the other phones, and just one pull disconnects them.
LMFAO! I love doing that! I did it to one person that called from new york, and it was from a REALLY fake number. Called several times till they stopped.
Man, only a few months without them calling, now I get calls about a credit card.
This woman made no sense what she just said.
I just got a call from this number too and was immediately suspicious and when I questioned the woman she got snotty with me which only confirmed my suspision further. Got on the computer immediately and...!!!
Started receiving calls from 201-210-5973 (NJ area code) on a daily basis. Decided to answer it on 6-24-10. The caller said she was calling from East Valley Financial located in Mesa, AZ with an offer to lower the interest rate on my credit card and that she would have a representative contact me as I apparently qualified for the lower interest rate with the information I had given her (which I had purposely over-exaggerated). On 6-25-10, Jacob Simms calls from 269-682-0018 (MI area code), said he was calling from East Valley Financial in Mesa, AZ, gave me the number of 1-866-208-9351 to call him back in case the call should drop. I ended up having to speak with "Carl" as Jacob couldn't answer all my questions. I overheard Carl call me a b***** after he thought I had hung up the phone when I ended our conversation. (Apparently he wasn't very happy with me when I wouldn't give him my CC information and that I wanted to check them out with my CC company first). I proceeded to dial the number back 201-210-5973, got back in touch with Carl, told him I didn't appreciate his comment, his lack of professionalism and that I would be reporting East Valley Financial to the FTC. I urge EVERYONE that gets calls from this number to do the same if you are on the "Do Not Call" list.
Ask them for their name. Then ask them for their home phone number. If they ask "Why" just say, "Well, it's only fair. You have my home phone number and irritate me by calling all hours of the day and night and I'd just like the chance to reciprocate."
