This number calls all hours of the day. Google reads Dial America Telemarketers. What a pain. I do not know any of these people. I never answer unknown calls. I hook up the phone to a fax machine.
They have been calling us also, and I did find out it was from a place or thing called "Bankcard Services"
I looked them up on the internet, called the numbers I found and although they denied it, the calls have stopped at least for now. I have been tracking the numbers that have called us (this one being one of them) and I have six others. some are cell phones from all over the united states. Their point seems to be they want to save you money by reducing your interest rates on credit cards.
I think that a bank or credit card company has paid them to contact people and they get paid by the amount of contacts they have made...thus the harrassment. just a guess but logical to me.
I will continue to track them if they start calling me again and report them to my bank if necessary. Someone is getting scammed.
