Crescent Processing owns Park Central Company and is also known for doing business under the name of Diamond Processing; they also operate a telemarketing center that at one time was known as ATRIUM; but who knows; the name for that could have changed.
Anyway, Crescent has a business model very similar to a company called Certified Merchant Services who was sold around 2004 to First American Payment Processing so the principles of the business could pay the $23.5 million dollar judgement the FTC levied against the company.
Crescent / Park Central's VP of Sales was a team leader for Certified Merchant Services and later promoted to their Director of Sales.
Be careful if you are considering doing business with this company and proceed with caution. More information is available at www.worsecreditcardprocessors.com about this and other "Merchant Service Providers"
I give different names to diffrent companies when I have to give a name in order to do something else. These guys called me today and asked for "Daniela". I have only ever used this name with one company; Publishers Clearing House (Hell, someone' gotta win the 10 million!). This is probably not their only source, but I know for sure it is one of them. Hope this helps you to figure out how they got your name and number.
