I got a call from this number regarding some grant program and told her I am interested in any program they were offering and she started getting pushy so I told her I don't like to be pressurized and when she still kept on trying to sell me some service I had to raise my voice and tell her to call back in January but immediately after that I still kept on getting calls. I ignored them for a long time but after millions of continuous calls I decided to answer but no response so I called the number back and had a recording. When it said if you want to place your number on "do not call" list press 2 I immediately did that so let's see if they call me again!
Samething happened to me today. I wasn't home they kept calling like every 10mins on my answering machine. I called the number back and pressed 2 also. You are so right about them being pressured I almost gave them my credit card number on Sunday morning got almost to the end and asked what other services I would have to pay for. $49+ a month to have access to there site with grant info. Told her I wasn't interested and the high pressure started. So I just told the woman that I was ending the call now and hung up. Not sure if it is the same company calling but I'll know better next time then to go looking for grants again.
They have called several times and successive times even after I told them I was not interested. I also called the number back, 201-221-3897, and replied to the recorded message "push 2 to be put on the no call list", 15 minutes later, another call.
This number has been calling me every 3 to 6 minutes for the last two weeks between 9 and 5. I dont want to answer because I know from previous experiance that other numbers will start calling me as well as soon as i answer.
