Just picked up the call for this number. Just for once, I had to see who it was. Usually, I would avoid it knowing it's spam/scammer.
Well, this lady was on the other end talking about credit card fraud. Said her name was Christina C or something. :) Told her the one she wants is busy and to call back some time later in the week. I didn't really speak in a normal tone of voice with her, but I don't think she caught. So many ways this convo could've gone.
Whatever you guys do, do not tell these people anything about your credit card info, or anybody else's. I live within this area code, but the Callers I.D. says "Out of Area". Smells funky right off the bet.
However, if you're bored and want to have some fun, just wait for this number to show up and start pretending you're someone else. I like it when pranksters prank scammers.
I too was receiving calls from this number, which is in my area code. They call several times a day, never leave a voice mail. I finally answered it and it was a guy with a heavy India accent, talking about wanting to know if my business uses Visa, Mastercard, etc for purchase transactions.
Sorry unknown caller, I'm not giving you any information about my business when you randomly call on my non-business cell phone.
Asked him to take me off the call list - probably a joke, but what the heck!
