Call to Google Voice line. It's routed to a Asterisk system that immediately answers and rings to one of my extensions. I've gotten dead air many times, so I went back to check the recordings. I get a recorded message that says, "In case of a fast pickup, we ask that you let us know you're not a voice mail system so you need to press '1' to take this call" that's finished before I pick up the call.
So, oddly, my computer picking up too quick is messing up their computer. Now I just need to have my asterisk server play a '1' and route it to a Hello, This Is Lenny server...
Edit: Apparently, this may be something new to Google Voice itself... I'll just add a delay in before the Answer() directive...
I keep getting blank calls from the phone number 301-234-4430. It seems like someone is borrowing this from the owner to make these calls. I'm not sure where to report this constant inconvenience.
