This number shows unlisted, this peson called 6 consecutive times today I picked up the first time and the person identified themselves as Ashley, Telling me to hop on the internet and go to some weard name of a job site, as soon as I asked the nut for her info she hung up. I say she because she gave a girl name and sound like a girl. I don't know this person and I would like them to stop bugging me. This person sound like someone wants to steal personal information. There are more calls but I will post the as they come in.
I received a similar call from a woman. She knew my name (most likely found through the Internet) and asked me if I was seeking a job. After I said yes she instructed me to go to a website: www.careeryou.com or something like that. The website sort of looks like a legitimate job search website. She wanted me to click a link on the website which would have you enter all of your personal information including credit card information! I played along with her and entered fake information. Next she told me I should sign up for educational promotions/college offers. I once again entered fake information. After that she told me how I could earn money simply by sharing Internet links on Facebook and instructed me to go to another website where I needed to download some type of software (malware/spyware). Since I was using an iPhone and knew nothing harmful could happen by clicking the download link I proceeded. The website link took me to another website requesting all of my personal information including credit card information and a small $1.00 startup fee + monthly recurring charges! I told the woman that there was no way I was signing up for this. She tried to talk me into it by saying how I could earn up to $60 per month, yadda, yadda…
People like this need to be reported to the FCC or wherever matters like this are taken care of!
