One call yesterday ID as Member Services, with message for electric bill discounts. 2nd call today, no message on answering machine. adding comments on the worthless do not call list!
I just received a call from this number as well and when I answered it was already playing an automated message similar to what Ed stated above "Thanks (something garbled) government deregulation you are now eligible to receive a discount on your electric bill. Press 5 to be transferred to a representative to find out which discount you are eligible for. Press 5 to be connected to one of our friendly representatives."
I don't know how they got my number as the land line is the number on file with our existing electric provider.
I already have two other numbers being forwarded straight to voicemail so this will be number three because they keep calling me.

I've gotten this call several times on my cell phone. With this calls and tother calls like it, I press the number I Press #9 nine about 20 times; It's nice and loud on their side; especially if they're wearing the headset. It is also quite therapeutic for me. I wish there was a setting on my phone so when numbers like this come in I could push them into a 2nd voicemail message; in which I would tell them to please call me at another number ? That other number would be one for a different unsolicited caller. Let them bother each other back and forth.
