this person jason called me giving me this number saying he was from crime prevention and that i had debt for 375.00 which did not he would not give any information and stated that i would be arrested first number he called from was 973-878-4019.
One of my clients got a call from this number. I called and he said it was because she took out payday loans she never paid back (which she didn't). I told him she filed bankruptcy and that was the end of it. Didn't even ask for a case number.
I got a call from this number today and the guy said I was going to be arrested today at 4pm and if I didn't pay back the $815.00 I owed to the pay loan company I would arrested and lose my job and all of this other stuff. I was freaked out and he said he could offer me a settlement of half and I told him I would not pay him any thing unless I had the information. I am going to contact an attorney and have the JERK arrested. It's illegal to call and threaten people
Hey I got the same call from Jason Hunt stating I owed for a payday loan that I didn't pay and if I didn't pay by 11:30am EST today. I would be arrested I asked for documentation which he said he didn't have to supply he was just working for the payday loan company when I called them they did not have any information that I owed them.
He claimed he was from Crime Prevention
P.S. My office phone doesn't show number besides he left voice mail messages.
