I received a call to send money to a bail bond person to have my grandson released from jail. The so called attorney (Jason Brown) stated he worked for the courts. The money was sent and I discovered it was a fraud request. This incident was reported to the Elizabeth City, NJ police department.

I receive a call from Jason Brown, who said he was on member of a court in New Jersey, and he stated that my grandson was incarcerated in a jail and he need $815 for a bail bond to get my grandson released. I sent the money to a bail bond person and discovered this was a fraud.
I received a call today (4 Jan 2017) from my "grandson" who said he was in an accident in NJ and said an attorney Jason Brown would be calling me. "Attorney Jason Brown" called within 5 minutes and said he was with Legal Aid. While on call my son-in-law called and said this was a fraud, where I then hung up. What makes matters worse is that neither State or Fed government can stop this.
