They called my cell number, which I never give out. I'm on a plan with only 50 minutes per month because I rarely use it. I know, I'm a freak. Anyway, he also said his name was "John". I asked how he got my number and he said they just dialed random numbers. I told him it was a cell and he was costing me money. I said to take my name off his list. He started to say something about a movie, but I was very abrupt and didn't let him finish.
Called Denver Cell Phone 8:00 pm on 02/18/09. From this list of complaints, I'd say that our cell phone company is selling their list. I use Verizon. I have other 201 area code calls that are also frequent and annoying. ALWAYS report them to the Do Not Call center on-line. Seems to have slowed them down a little bit. Wish I could just block all calls from New Jersey.
