Calling for "Cooking Light" magazine and asked for a name I am not familiar with. The line he called belongs to an attorney. They first called yesterday and I told him he has the wrong number. He said "That's ok" and then asked me if I was interested in the Cooking Light magazine. I told him no and stopped him from his babbling and ended the call.
The same guy called back today and asked for the same unfamiliar name again. I told him he got the wrong number. I also told him he called for the same name yesterday and I had already told him he had the wrong number. He thanked me for letting him know and said he will make a note of it. I had to him from his babbling once again and ended the call.
He said he made a note but I have a feeling I will be getting his call again.
Most magazines offer a great first time price, and then their renewal price is awful. I let CL expire and a few months later ordered under my wife's name. Next time they call, I'll see the ID and grab the phone. I need to never put my number on a magazine subscription.
