I just called the 800-564*1440 # & that # belongs to Dial America & they are a magazine subscription telemarketer. She said that when she looked up the Bowtie Inc # I asked to be removed from, she has no info on that #. She did remove our # from the Dial America call list and apologized because we may possibly get another call while the removal is processing. We have never ordered magazines (and she said Dial America calls to try to get us to purchase magazines to benefit charities) over the phone. Let's hope this works as we have been getting calls from this # several times a week starting @ 8 AM.
Just about everyday I get a call from this Company. I do not answer. I am on the do not call list but still I get this one. It is annoying cause to run to the phone to see who is calling.
NOTICE: I work for a telephone company. I received two calls from 201-257-4081 so I came to work researching the number. I called the number which was a recording to call 1-800-564-1440. Call this number and you can have your number taken off the list. The company handles mag. subscriptions.
My caller id states that I have had 9 calls recently from the 201-257-4081 number. I returned the call and got an answering machine(big surprise!)with a customer service number(800-564-1440) for Bowtie Magazine Sales. I called and got a telemarketer for Dial America. I requested that my number be removed. I was told that by having my name taken off the list I would no longer receive magazine info for Mothers Against Drunk Driving or Easter Seals. This is not a problem as I have never bought any magazines through them anyway. I was also told that it could take several days to have the number removed. Will let all of you know if it does not happen.
