Continually receive the calls from the 201 and 401 area codes. These [***] are circumventing DNC rules by saying that they are responding to your interest cards that you filled out. What "BS" as the other posters have said!! Now these "telemarketing terrorists" have "corrupted" the "Private Name/Private Number feature of our telephone companies. I have answered my phone thinking it was a relative when it was some clown "hiding" behind "Private Name/Private Number"!! What are we to do? You can't "threaten" them with DNC complaints since NO NUMBER shows up in your Caller I.D.! Now, when a "Private Name/Private Number" comes in, I let the caller speak before I answer it!!
i recieved many phone calls from this number and some others related to it. I took interst in an add from google and making money from home (the add was from google the company and not just from the browser) and ever since then I've recieved these calls.
if you're on the do not call list it doesn't matter. if you go to the web site www.donotcall.gov it clearly states that tela-marketers can still call you.
Recieved two calls from this number no messages, very annoying to have these calls and no one there or they don't leave a message what is the point in making the call in the first place. Also my number is unlisted!
Look up the state the area code is from and contact the atty general, the consumer protection agency and the better business bureau and report them. Will help if you have the dates and time.
After a six-month hiatus, they're baaaack! The calls began early today from this number and from 410-774-8401 and the total so far today is 5. No message on the machine and the only identification on the caller ID are the letters "CI". If their routine is the same as it used to be, the next couple of weeks should be very aggravating.
